Golf Club - A Gem in Central Scotland's Golfing Crown
Located in the heart of Edinburgh, Central Scotland,
Turnhouse Golf Club should be a permanent feature on your annual
golfing calendar.
Turnhouse is a Par 69 (SSS. 70) for Gents and
Par 71 (SSS. 73) for Ladies and measures 6060 yards from the medal
tees. An electronic scorecard can
be found here. The course is ranked third for the number of Par
4 holes over 400 yards in the Lothians.
From it's vantage point at the top of Lennie Hill,
Turnhouse Golf Course offers stunning 360 degree views, and on
a clear day you can see the mountains of the Scottish Highlands
to the North, the River Forth to the East, the Pentland Hills to
the South and the old coal bings of Broxburn to the West.
The course offers a fair challenge for all levels
of golfers and no two holes are the same. Our Professional,
John Murray has provided some tips on the best way to play the
course. Click Here for the course
layout.
The Club also benefits from one of the largest
Club practice areas in the Lothians. You can use this area before
you tee off for a warm up or alternatively, lessons can be arranged
with our Pro John Murray or one of his assistants.
